Part D
Solution Caves in Arizona
There are a number of different types of caves, from solution caves to sea caves to ice caves to lava tubes. Arizona is host to a number of solution caves (i.e., those formed by the dissolution of carbonate rock). These include the magnificent Kartchner Caverns, to Collosal Cave and Grand Canyon Caverns, to much smaller unnamed caves. Let's look at a few of them.
